Was great. The ownwer was very helpful and personable. Within walking distance to Fast Eddies which has really good food. Pet friendly with many places to walk your dog.
The most beautiful view on our trip. The sites were nice but as in all of the Yukon, not always level. We camped in a pull thru which had full hookups. It seemed it would be tight but we were the only people in the pull thrus at the time. We quickly learned that a CONVOY was coming thru and they were all booked the next day. The owner was very nice and caring. The staff was very helpful. My only complaint is the restaurant is not very kid friendly and is VERY expensive. They did have a reasonable take out menu. We passed the "Summit Lake" campground on the way out and found it was just beautiful but had no hookups and seemed very remote.
The CLEANEST shower I have EVER seen!! The owners sure take love and care of this BEAUTIFUL place. By far the BEST RV park we came along. Would like to have stayed a bit longer but didn't have the time. On the shore of a spectacular lake. My family (including small children and a large dog)felt very welcome. On our way back up to Alaska this will be a stop for us. The review say "no sewer" but they do have a dump.
Great park, family friendly and just beautiful. The food was great and the owners are just wonderful. The SMALL problems we had with this place was the fact that we would have to pay for a shower (the other we stayed at you didn't have to) and that they we really not that clean. I wouldn't say "dirty" but not that clean. Also, the mosquitos were just AWFUL! Which has nothing to do with the park itself. I would say that we really enjoyed our time here.
The absolute WORST place we stayed the whole 30 days we were on the road! Pull thru's were more than tight, muddy and the water we had hooked up to had an AWFUL smell. The water also stained our towels and toilet with what my husband says is iron, but it smelled like a sewer smell. Needless to say we unhooked our water line but were still left with the satins on our toilet (YUCK). After check in (people were very nice) we drove to our "pull thru" just to be greeted by a plywood building that has a sign that reads "all meat left in here must be skinned and quartered"!! Dear lord!! The place is a bit scary.... The only thing that kept me from leaving was the nice people camping beside us. All in all next trip we will plan to drive much further and not stop here.
Great Park, seemed very crowded but we did pass thru during Canada Day! The staff was helpful and moved us when we were not satisfied w/ the site we had (the hook ups were on the wrong side?). Had an ok stocked store and a nice pool. Scenery is just amazing and I did not hear any load noise from any highway
Awesome! Is all I can say. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. We stayed in a level pull-through w/ all hookups. They did offer satellite TV but you had to have the receiver. Nice safe and gated. Our children rode their bikes and hiked the trails they had along the river. The staff was helpful and made us feel like family. We will be staying here again.
